Delight, as we have noted, is not always easy. It sometimes involves trudging along a trajectory that, ultimately, adds significance, relevance, or meaning to a task, product, training, or exercise. It exists, and should be sought, because it speaks to a consumer desire – to locate elements outside of products and services themselves that complete the experience of using these products or services. You are not simply offering goods or services; you are not simply solving problems; you are also helping consumers feel good about the company behind the product or service, behind the solution.
Here are slides from a session I ran on Monday about how schools leaders can try to be 'better teachers' in their leadership practices. You can now easily switch between three user interface modes (and more are coming not just to iOS but other platforms) from the record screen. The presenter mode is especially useful when sharing your device screen via a video call.
There are probably a lot of tools that do this, I just happened to be introduced to it last week. Form Publisher is a Google Forms add on that lets you take form input data and lay it out on top of a template for easier sharing and communication.

In a talk I'll be doing next week at ISTE, I will share a perspective on life and learning that basically suggests that most areas of life can be analyzed through a lens of three phases: intent (goals/outcomes), experiences (learning/instructional design), assessment (what was learned).
It is now possible to browse and add files from your Slack workspace directly onto the canvas when using the web version of Explain Everything. You have to first add a Chrome browser extension and then authorize it for Slack (this is done in seconds). After that it becomes super easy to find images, videos, and documents that are needed for a video or a collaborative discussion.
I learned about Boomerang from Steve Barnwell at LearnFestATX. I have not set it up yet but will do so in about month when I add one more GSuite account to my growing list from my many professional and personal entanglements. When set up, it allows you to decide when your emails are actually delivered to you. You can designate specific times for delivery so that your phone or mail client are not always in an 'alway on and alerting mode.' You have to set an understanding that email is not the best mechanism for non-urgent communication (text/Slack/phonecall/walk down the hall are all better for that). Once set though, you can take back some control of when the often overwhelming volume of information comes in. I am excited to use this.
