SPAM Bots took over the comments! But I am unhiding these temporarily.
Two big updates have come for the iPad in the last couple of weeks. The first is the updated version of the iPad operating system which gives access to features such as app folders (drag one app onto another), app multitasking (double click the home button), unified mailboxes, and a whole slew of other smaller setting and feature updates. Here is a great post that details all of the updates: http://bit.ly/cu1Lv3. I am much more excited about recent addition of the ability to edit documents and spreadsheets in Google Docs (not yet for presentations, forms, or drawings). I think that this addition really stretches the possibility for using iPads and other tablets in schools. It will be much easier for students and teachers to share, edit, and collaborate on work without needing to worry about file locations and printing. To me, the document interface is easier to work with than the spreadsheet interface only because it resembles the desktop version more closely.
