Poet Laureate: This cold

This cold, acquired from my son
or perhaps from too much time in the outdoor fall fun
This cold, or is it allergies?
I don't have them, though, I think, could it really be the trees?
This cold, ruins my sleep
I made some tea with honey and lemon, but for too long I let it steep
This cold, it beckons hot soup with noodles.
I will find a place. Ramen, delicious ramen noodles. Oodles.
