I just finished exploring all of the wonderful ideas share by Barbara Rucci and Betsy McKenna in their new book, Art Workshop for Children (Quarry, 2016). As a parent of three young children, my mind immediately raced to all of the possibilities and things I want to start doing TODAY at home with them. With practical ideas, thoughtfully written guidance, and beautiful color photographs, this book is a true inspiration for anyone who wants to foster the innate creativity of young people. I created a sketch note as I was going through each and every idea over the past week since I received the book (process art!). I highly recommend this book!

Reshan, Thanks for your enthusiastic response to our book! I'm thrilled that you have been inspired to continue to create with your trio at home. There are endless possibilities when children are given the space and time to explore, design and create. I love your sketch, too- Enjoy!
