I was asked to create a brief intro video for a conference next March. I did it in a sketch style, but first I drafted a script, recorded it, and then made different items appear as I was talking by pausing the recording (using the Mixed mode in EE).

I've been following the emergence of a really nicely designed and delivered thought leadership source: Design.blog. I took some notes on an article written by Julie Zhou, a design lead at Facebook, and have included them below in animated format. Made with Explain Everything on an iPad Pro and edited in iMovie on a mac (sped up time (12 minutes to 34 seconds) + music added). Here are many of the slides from my presentation yesterday evening at the Peel SB conference. I'm working on a collaborative book project with some other ADEs about sketchnoting. Each contributor is making a short tip or trick video and I decided to make a draft of one about creating a quick reference visual library based on elements that I frequently use.
A range of 7 faces whose expressed joy diminishes in both facial expression and color.
These are the notes I took during 4 separate Showcase sessions at the ADE Institute in Berlin. Each presenter had only 3 minutes to tell their story - and we go to hear 43 of them.
Here is a link to the latest newsletter and below are some images — photos, sketchnotes, and a header image — to wrap up the week.
We kicked off our new newsletter in support of Blending Leadership. Below is the sketch I made based on the subject matter. And here is a link to the newsletter itself.
