Another draft of some quotes and graphics we'll be putting out regularly when the book is published in one month.
We're working on some images to share the work of those whom we turned to when writing the book. My goal is to make one a day (all using Explain Everything). Let's see if Michelle stumbles upon this on social media!
Working on a small 'book trailer' sharing some audio and video feedback provided to us by leaders in education and technology whom we greatly admire and respect (and who took the tie to read an advance of our book). It will be published soon.
I did a few updates to the book's website, giving it a simpler, cleaner look to start.
Steve and I had the opportunity to share at Tomorrow's Classrooms Today 2016 at Rider University this past weekend. Put on buy the founders of #satchat, it was a terrific gathering of teachers and leaders. Steve and I presented some of the ideas from the book. Here are some of the slides we used (not all of them, and not in any particular sequence or order). Steve sent me an early paper draft of some musings as we were preparing to write Blending Leadership.
Reading a blog, in itself, is hardly worth reporting. But reading a blog that you’ve read before, while carrying in your mind a certain (local) problem you are trying to solve, is a way of working made possible by blending practice. |
